Directly out of law school I went to work for Los Angeles County as a Deputy
Public Defender handling criminal matters for 8 years. During that time
period I tried almost every conceivable type of criminal case in State Court.
Jury Trials:
Misdemeanor trials: In excess of 100
Felony trials: in excess of 50
Types of trials included:
Murder, kidnapping, gang cases, rape, assaults, drug cases, extortion,
embezzlement, domestic violence and numerous drunk driving cases.
Qualified on several occasions as an expert in criminal law.
Qualified for the Superior Court of Los Angeles as an expert for criminal
defense strategy.
1979: Entered Private Practice.
My practice is limited to Criminal Defense and Personal Injury. Each case
is given my personal attention and every client is treated with care and respect.
1985 to present: member of the Los Angeles County Indigent Criminal Defense
Appointments Panel (ICDA) an organization operated by the LA County Bar
Association which provides defense counsel for persons charged with criminal offenses.
During my thirty years in criminal defense I have built an excellent reputation
in the Los Angeles County courts among Judges, DA’s and colleagues.
